FULL DAY EXCURSIONS

OPTION 1 - With Short Horseback riding

  • In the morning: from 9 am. to 3 p.m.

  • In the afternoon: from 4 pm. to 10 p.m.

The tour starts by picking you up at your hotel in El Calafate. You will travel 53 km along Route 11 along the coast of the Argentino Lake until reaching Route 60, where 5 km are made by gravel to reach the ranch, it is in a southwestern direction facing the Andes and the peninsula of Magallanes. The guide receives you with tea, mate or hot coffee while giving a welcome speech, then accompanies you to ride the horses, then you begin the ride to the side of Lago Rico (arm of the immense Argentino lake). Once you get there, you ride along the cost of the lake and contemplate the beautiful landscape of snowy mountains, while the guide explains about the geography and history of the place, as requested by the group. There are those who only want to ride and there are those who prefer to walk and learn about the place. Then you will return to the estancia where the staff will be waiting with delicious slowly cooked Patagonian Lamb   (optional: Steaks ) accompanied by salads. Once the lunch or dinner is finished, you will return to El Calafate.

OPTION 2 - With Long Horseback riding

  • In the morning: from 9 am. to 3 p.m.

  • In the afternoon: from 4 pm. to 10 p.m.

Then you will ride to a beautiful grove where formerly was the old main house of the ranch, the staff will prepare food consisting of grilled steaks with vegetables and salad. Once the meal is finished, you will return to the estancia and then to El Calafate.
